HAIRBOWS!!!!!

Yes, this post is all about hair bows!!! I've made a bunch.
the blue one and the pink one in the top picture I must of made a little weird because they are diagonal instead of up and down! I have NO idea how that happened!
The dotted one I made almost perfectly!
the one I'm wearing in the picture just above is a different type of bow, and it turned out pretty well. I changed the procedure from the instructions a little, it still looks good though!!
I got the instructions for the one I'm wearing (it's called a flower loop bow) at the ribbon retreat. and I got the instructions for the three bows at the top at baby bows.
Hair bows are FUN!!!

these are some of my favorite quotes from poor Richard/ Ben Franklin

#1 Eat to live, and not live to eat.
#2 Early to bed and Early to rise Makes a man Healthy, wealthy and wise
#3 He that lies down with dogs, shall rise up with fleas.
#4 He that speaks ill of the mare, will buy her.
#5 When the Wells dry, we know the worth of water.
And #6 Work as if you were to live a hundred years, pray as if you were to die tomorrow.
Thank you! I got these from a site called "The Electric Ben Franklin". it's address is

What is your Pirate Name?

My pirate name is:

Dirty Anne Bonney

You're the pirate everyone else wants to throw in the ocean -- not to get rid of you, you understand; just to get rid of the smell. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!

chore wars

Chore wars.

You may not be aware that people all over the world are going on adventures, right under your very nose,But they are! You may even know a few!!! If you want to be an adventurer you don't have to travel all over the world, you just have to go to chorewars.com, create your character, and your off!!

The Adventures you go on aren't to the Jungles of Gahoolezakoole, or to the dungeon of Gaskins keep.

The adventures are really, though it might sound strange, Chores! Hence the name, Chore Wars.

For every chore you do, you go on the website and claim it, and then your character gets virtual Gold coins and experience points.”It's sort of like Dungeons and Dragons.” said Valerie Jacksack who participates on the site. Indeed, if you and your family participate some times you can reach an agreement with your mom for what you can get when you get a certain amount of Virtual coins, such as

maybe going shopping, watching a movie, or getting a new book. Then you click the button that says

use or drop items, say use, whatever amount you agreed on, and then then click the button that says “use” and return to your character sheet. You will see that you will have lost that many coins. As you can see this site is REALLY simple! Out of a rating of one to five I would give it Four.

my sister: The WEED EATER!!!!!!!

Is this picture what you picture in your head when you think of a salad? Not my sister! what SHE pictures is a wonderful blend(to her!)of dandelion and dill. Sources agree that dandelions are high in calcium, iron, potassium, and phosphorus, as well as vitamins A, B, C, and D. It has even been said that dandelion leaves are a better source of vitamin A than carrots, and have more iron than spinach. Dandelion root is also said to be 40% inulin, a healthful plant fiber. Soooooooooo now she has an arrangement, she will eat ONLY Five dandelion leaves a day, plus some dill, and she is getting Good YUMMY food, plus she is geting to eat five leaves of SUPER FOOD " is a type of food that is believed to have more significant health benefits than any other type of food due to their specific phytonutrient content." I might have to eat some!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moms Idea.

this is my MOMS idea.
I do not take credit for anything she thought of.
she, last year,(we are going to try it AGAIN this year.)thought that if I had a note book that I had my school assignments in it, I could cross off the stuff I did, right after I did it. it could also be used as a day book. (I have NOTHING against calenders though!)
and so we did that for a while, and it worked pretty well, sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
we are going to do that again this year.
please don't be afraid to take this Idea and make your own school asignment
notebook!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

School is ALMOST back.

School Is ALMOST back.

My Favorite Super-Power

Hello!
If I could have any super power I would have making 4 types of barriers
the first one would be invisible and would block sound,
the second would also be invisible, but would NOT block sound,
the third would NOT be invisible, but would block sound,
and the fourth would NOT be invisible, and would NOT block sound.

Why I Like Blogging.

hi!
The Reason I like Blogging so much is that

1. you don't have to do a lot of stuff you do when writing on a web site.(I know, because I have a web site!)
2.it's easy
3. it's fun
and 4. practically most of my friends have blogs!
(you can see my friend KT's blog in my blogs I like section.

The Thing I Like To Cook The Most, and why.

Hi!
I don't cook much so this is going to be hard............................
probably chocolate chip cookies.
I like to make chocolate chip cookies a lot probably because
1. they are easy and fun to make
2.I look forwards to eating them
3. My mom always lets us eat some of the chocolate chips before we put them in the batter.
and 4. they smell sooooooooooooooooo good while they are in the oven!

Describe your favorite dessert recipe.

Wellllllllllllllllllllllll it's pretty hard to decide....................................
brownies............................................or ice cream cake......................................
well I'll go with brownies.
I like basic brownies, I HATE brownies with nuts in them, they are preferred with no icing, they should be moist,(not falling apart, but not dry either....), And I like them when they're warm.
I had brownies at my uncle's sausage fest and I LOVED those.
Another thing, no fillings.
Of course if you add chocolate chips that is o.k..................................................YUM!!!!!!!!

Book Review: The Mistmantle Cronicles, Book One: Urchin of the Riding Stars

My mom recently checked this book out from the library for me.
I tried it because 1. my mom told me she thought I would like it, and she normally knows what books I like, and 2. it looked interesting.
At first I was wary of it but I no more than opened the cover then
I was swept up in the plots of the evil Lord Husk and Lady Aspen, a drugged king, a murder, or two, the exile, Captain Crispin, a terrible plan, all the good captains, and right in the thick of it, Urchin, who was born, and lost on the night of the riding stars.
And the good part is, is that, this is only book one!
out of 5*s, I would give it this many:
*****!!!!!!!! I LOVE this book.
I would recommend this book to people who like books like Hermux Tantamoq, Watership down, and Wind in the willows.
Some people like Maximum ride I like these books, Hermux Tantamoq books, Watership down, Wind in the willows, and Mistmantle Chronicles.

My Real, Play, School.

Hi!
This is a post that for a change I decided to write, and I am!
Today my mom went through all her old school supplies and I got a TON of stuff that is missing pieces, or my mom doesn't want. So today I opened up Angela's Happy School.
for history/reading for Val I make her choose 1 magic tree house book for her to read.
For Christina's reading (she doesn't do history this week) I went through some of the words in Valerie's old bag of words she knows.(My mom made the packet when she was Christina's age!)
We also do science, we read these mini science books about the human body.
Valerie also teaches art.

Worlds of Wonder part 3 - Archeology

And last I take Archeology.
it's pretty fun except the lady who teaches it decides to fast.
we are going to do a "dig", or in other words, make up a culture, make artifacts from it, and bury
it. a couple people, (two to be exact) wanted to do ours from the future and that was that, now we are FORCED to do it in the future!!!!!!! But at least I am assigned how they do marriage, how they raise their kids, and their rites of passage. After we bury the artifacts in an aluminum cooking pan we will switch it with one of her other classes. Then we dig up theirs and then we try to discover what type of people their people were.

Please go part one then part two then part three or else it won't make any sense.

Worlds of Wonder part 2 - Math Games and Strategies

My second class is called "Math Games and Strategies." I love this class.
If any of you who read this blog have read J.K. Rowling's description of Charms in Harry Potter,
(anyway, I think it's charms!) that description would about sum it up. loud, noisy, fun, and interesting. every day we learn a few games, math games, that is, then we try to find the strategies to win them.
So far we have learned, the 100 game, the 13 paper clip game, and the 15, 20 or 30 paper clip game.

Worlds of Wonder part I - Robotics

Hi! this June I started this program called "Worlds of Wisdom and Wonder".
it started on the 25th and will continue till the 6th of July.
The first class I go to is really fun, it's called "Robotics" (1 or 2)
well the first day was pretty confusing, cause I was accidentally signed up for Robotics 2, but I was supposed to do Robotics one before continuing to #2.
So the second day I went, my mom had to come in and switch me to the #1 Robotics,
and still it was confusing because on the third day my mom had to switch checks, because Robotics 1 didn't cost as much as #2.
but now I think it's all sorted out.
Anyway, at Robotics you may have figured out, I make Robots!!!!!!!!!! which is sooooooooooo cool!
but instead of just taking the parts and gluing them together, I have to make the circuit board AND put it together, but it's pretty fun.
theres only two other girls in Robotics, but they are both REALLY nice.
the robot I'm making is called "The Scooter." it basically goes forwards till it bumps into something, then it emits a sound and backs up. Then it turns a different direction.
But whats cool is that I get to seal the resisters with melted metal.
And Ladies and gentlemen thats about it on Robotics!
