Books, music, AP tests, birthdays, and "literal videos"

So, as the title indicates, lots has been going on! First, a GIANT apology for not reading your people's blogs! I swear it's not personal, I've just had a lot going on. Thank you for awards that I may have been given, and I'm honored!

okay. So, recently we've been watching these "literal" videos. I suggest you go and look some of them up. They are hil-ar-i-ous. :) We also had to look up some of the ACTUAL songs, and right now "video killed the radio star" is running through my head. Video killed the radio star, video killed the radio star.... So yeah. :P

Also, lots of studying for the AP test. Fun, eh? Not especially. The last practice test I took, I got a five (may or may not have told you guys, but anyway, too lazy to go and look at it, :P ). The AP test is coming up and I'm really kind of freaked out about it.... It's going to be held in the local Highschool, where (if I were going to highschool) I would be attending. :) My mom told the people there that I was a freshman, so we have to make a student id that supports that. I can have the same ID for about two years. :P

And Happy birthday Trilly!!! (she's 13 now, well, four days ago) So, yeah. *Throws confetti* HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

also, I have no clue why the font is so huge, I swear (and Valerie is my witness) that I've tried to change it. :P

Here a book, there a book, everywhere you see a book...

So, today the public library was holding a "we're getting rid of a bunch of books come take them away from us so we don't have to deal with them" sale. So, my mom and I, being who we are, and the books being free and all (did I mention they're free?), went to see whether there were any good books. Okay, so, imagine a room about.... hmm...... 20 feet by 10 feet. Now imagine that room filled to bursting with boxes of books (of every kind) people with boxes of books, people with bags of books, and just people in general. Yeah. So, we left with 7 bags of books, and we didn't even look at even a fraction of them.

I want to go back tomorrow.

Hullo everyone, and goodday, too!!

So, goodday to ye, too!!

Today I took another practice AP test. Last time I took one (without it being a re-take) I got a 3. Now, let me explain this. 1 is bad. very very very bad. No colleges will accept a one. a two is bad. virtually no colleges will accept it. a three is average. some will accept it. a four is good- most will accept a 4. a five is the very best- all colleges accept a five. Okay??? still with me?? good. So, the first time, I got a three. This time??? THIS TIME I GOT A FIVE!!! *screams* *throws confetti* *throws cake* *does victory dance*

oh, and instead of conditioner, use vinegar. I used white vinegar in my hair today, (rinse it out, silly), and it works amazing. :P just had to say that. :P But don't get it in your eyes. I swear, it felt like my eyeballs were being burned out of their sockets. Just a word of warning. :P

A blog for you to check out. :)

Here is a blog for all you people who read this blog (though that is sometimes doubtful- my blog is incredibly boring, and making it educational is obviously a step up)... check out Daughters Arise. It's written by one of my friends (and her friends??)... so, yeah. Go and check it out, and comment on the awesome Aragorn costume she's making for her brother. :D :D :D (with a princess costume... shhh!)

Kezia Dustin!

Valerie (my absolutely amazing sister) drew this for me! It's a picture of the main character for my book. (still untitled) Her name is Kezia Dustin (although "Dustin" isn't her real last name, it's her mistress' last name, so she took it as hers, as she doesn't know her own last one. :) ) Isn't she purty? Valerie drew her just how I imagined her! It's amazing!

Fifty Words Or More #2

In the experiment, I was asked to use 1/2 a cup of water, and put red food coloring in it until I though tit was red, and tehn have someone else repeat the experiment, before we compared. I had two of my sisters do the experiment, and it revealed that people have slightly different, yet similar views of the same (or almost the same) thing. In my cup, I put 6 drops of food coloring. Valerie put 8, and Christina used 7 drops to color the water in her cup red. I didn't try this with someone not related to me, so I do not have an answer as of now, about whether these results were because my sisters and I have been trained to see the same color as "red" or not.

that was 129 words. also about science.

Fifty Words Or More #1

Separating out facts from beliefs has made me quite a bit more skeptical of my theories, and those of everybody else. It has also made me able to understand more about a person or thing, because I now dig deeper, to come up with more evidence, to support facts. In doing so, I also learn more about an object, or person.
I cannot say that studying my siblings has made me better understand them, having lived with them my entire life, in close proximity. However, observing my sister's friends has made me better understand them, and I'm sure that if I were to study a stranger, I would be able to tell more about who they were, since I have been studying people who I know a bit more then not at all.
The objects I've studied are another story, however. A lot of the objects were everyday items, which I never really studied before, because they were so commonplace, I took them for granted. Studying them has definitely increased my understanding of them. For example, I haven't ever studied my room with the intent of studying it before, but I feel as if I understood it better after that.

Just in case you were wondering, that was 200 words, and about my science assignment. :)
