The thick, metallic taste filled my mouth, and the smell of blood mingled with that of rubber and sweat. The sound of the crowd made it too loud to think, much less get my brother off of me.“Three... Two...”“Come on, Jade!”“One.”Burr shoved my face against the mat, and for the third time that day I blacked out.
It's not great.
But it's a rough draft.
