sir Gawain
Sir Gawain
sir Gawain was one of the
nights of the round table.
In some of the older story's
sir Gawain is the knight
who can sit in the seat
perilous. Gawain also
married the loathly lady,
to save king Arthur's pride. Sir Gawain was the one knight who decided to accept the challenge of the green knight. He would cut of the green knights head, and then, the next year the green knight was allowed to cut Gawain's head off. The green knight put his head back on by magic, and he never really cut Gawain's head off! I don't have time to write how it happened, so if you want to know the whole story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, go look it up. I suggest you do, because it is a very good story. So is sir Gawain and the loathly lady.

sing a song of people by Lois Lenski
Sing a song of people
by Lois Lenski
Sing a song of people
walking fast or slow;
people in the city,
up and down they go.
People on the sidewalk,
people on the bus;
people passing, passing,
in back and front of us.
People on the subway
underneath the ground;
people riding taxis
round and round and round.
People with their hats on,
going in the doors;
people with umbrellas
when it rains and pours.
People in tall buildings
and in stores below;
riding elevators
up and down they go.
People walking singly,
people in a crowd;
people saying nothing,
people talking loud.
People laughing smiling,
grumpy people too;
people who just hurry
and never look at you!
Sing a song of people
who like to come and go;
sing of city people
you see but never know!
hope you like it!

hey, yeah, you, dummy! get out of the crusade!
I mean, If you got up and left,
chances were you would DIE in the mountains,
or you would starve, or you could be killed by
bandits, or since you would probably become a
thief because that was the only way you could live,
you would probably get killed by the villagers who you
stole from!
so the crusades were just a lose lose!

my b-day party
well now that I have time, I'll tell about my birthday party.
First my two friends and I got our nails done at a salon named T nails.
Then, we went to Ruby Tuesday to eat, and I got to open presents. normally I don't ask for presents, I ask for food for the food pantry, but since this year it was only two friends I asked for presents. My mind wouldn't let me get away without helping others though, so I also asked for a tooth brush or two as well. so now I have to donate about five tooth brushes. I hope everyone enjoyed my party! Oh yeah, while we were at the mall, I got my ears pierced!!!!! it really didn't feel to bad, it was just like,I don't know, getting a VERY mild shot.
so thats what my birthday party was.
oh yeah, and on my birthday I went to the Shedd aquarium.
I went with my Girl Scout sisters.
so, really, I had two Birthday party's!
